At Bag and Scent, customer satisfaction is important to us. This Return & Refund Policy explains the conditions under which returns, refunds, and exchanges may be requested for purchases made with us.
By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Eligibility for Returns
We accept return requests only under the following conditions:

The item is defective or damaged upon arrival.

You received the wrong item.

The product is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.

Leather Bags: Must have all original tags attached and show no signs of wear or scratches.

Perfumes: The protective seal/cellophane wrap must be intact and unopened.

To be eligible for a return, you must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
2. Non-Returnable Items
Certain items are not eligible for return, including:

Used or opened products (including perfumes where the original seal is broken due to hygiene and safety standards).

Customized items (any leather bags with personalized embossing or custom modifications).

Items not in original condition or missing packaging.

Products returned after the 7-day return window.

Items purchased on final sale or during clearance events.
3. Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your returned item at our facility, we will notify you regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed and automatically applied to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider. For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds may be processed via bank transfer or store credit.
4. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund within the expected time:

5. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect. If you need an exchange for the same product (or a different color/scent, subject to availability), contact us and we will guide you through the process.
6. Return Shipping
Customers may be responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong or defective item). Shipping costs are non-refundable.
If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from your refund amount where applicable.
7. Order Cancellations
Orders can only be cancelled within 12 hours of placement. After this period, orders are processed and cannot be cancelled.
8. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the product and packaging. We will review your case and provide a suitable solution.
