Warranty Policy

At Bag and Scent, we take immense pride in the craftsmanship of our leather goods and the quality of our perfumes. We are committed to providing products that meet the highest standards of luxury and durability. This Warranty Policy explains the terms under which your purchase may be eligible for warranty service within the United Arab Emirates.

WARRANTY COVERAGE

All products manufactured and sold by Bag and Scent are covered by a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

Leather Bags: Covered for a period of 6 months from the date of delivery. This includes structural defects such as stitching, zippers, and hardware malfunctions.
Perfumes: Covered for a period of 14 days from the date of delivery specifically for defects in the atomizers (spray mechanisms) or bottle integrity.
This limited warranty applies only to products used under normal conditions and as intended.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

Improper handling, misuse, or abuse of leather (e.g., exposure to heavy rain, extreme heat, or chemicals).
Accidental damage, stains, or impact.
Unauthorized modifications or repairs.
Normal wear and tear: This includes natural aging of leather, slight color fading, or scratches acquired during regular use.
Fragrances that have been stored improperly (e.g., in direct sunlight or high-humidity areas).

HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM

To make a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

Prepare your order number and proof of purchase.
Take clear photos or videos showing the defect (e.g., a broken zipper or a leaking perfume bottle).
Contact our UAE support team with the relevant details at info@bagandscent.com.

Once we receive your request, our quality control team will review it and respond with further instructions within 3–5 business days.

REMEDIES UNDER WARRANTY

If your warranty claim is approved, Bag and Scent may, at its discretion:

Repair the defective leather item at no cost.
Replace the product with an identical item.
Provide a refund or store credit if the item is no longer in production. Shipping costs related to approved warranty repairs or replacements within the UAE will be covered by us.

EXCLUSIONS

This Warranty Policy does not cover:

Products purchased from unauthorized resellers or third-party marketplaces.
Items without a valid proof of purchase.
Cosmetic changes in leather that are part of the natural patina process.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, Bag and Scent’s liability under this warranty is limited to the remedies described above. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.

CHANGES TO THIS WARRANTY POLICY

We may update this Warranty Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our manufacturing materials or local regulations. When updates are made, the “Last updated” date at the top of this policy will be revised.
